Development of Natural Gas Outdoor Pipelines

Development of Natural Gas Outdoor Pipelines

1.1 Research background
Urban gas pipelines are divided into outdoor pipelines and indoor pipelines. A comparative analysis and research on urban outdoor buried gas pipelines are carried out in this article.

1.1.1 The development of natural gas outdoor pipelines
With the implementation of the "Plans for Clean Air in Beijing from 2013 to 2017”, Beijing's energy structure has been continuously optimized from single to diverse. The consumption of natural gas continues to increase, and the application fields are more and more extensive. The consumption of natural gas and the total number of users rank first among the major cities in China.

From 2016 to 2020 is China's thirteenth five-year plan. Under the concept of "innovation, coordination, green, opening up and sharing", the construction of the natural gas pipe has ushered in an important period of development. Taking the construction of the fourth Shaanxi-Beijing pipeline, the Datang coal-based natural gas pipeline and the Sino-Russian east pipeline as an opportunity, a multi-source and multi-directional upstream gas source supply system will be formed; the connection and dispatch of multiple gas source points will be realized, and eight major gas transmission channels will be created. Beijing and its surrounding areas form a peripheral ring network with 10MPa composed of long-distance pipelines.

Beijing's "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" Development and Construction Plan of Gas" mentioned strengthening regional coordination and improving the transmission and distribution system. Combined with the construction of Beijing's sub-center, new airport and World Horticultural Exhibition and the demand for replacing coal with gas, strengthen the design and construction, complete the urban transmission and distribution system, and realize the formation of the sixth loop high-pressure A gas distribution platform. The Yanfang gas supply pipeline is about 15 kilometers, and the power plant gas supply pipeline is about 6 kilometers in conjunction with Tongzhou and Haibei Energy Center. In order to support the development of the new airport, build a high-pressure A pipeline of about 30 kilometers and a high-pressure A pressure regulating station. Optimize the high-pressure B and sub-high-pressure A pipelines and build a new LNG emergency storage and distribution station. There are more than 100 kilometers of high-pressure B pipelines, 14 high-pressure B field stations, more than 240 kilometers of sub-high-pressure A pipelines, more than 60 pressure regulating stations, and more than 200 kilometers of medium-pressure pipelines.

By 2020, the consumption of natural gas will reach 980 million cubic meters, and a gas source is many existing gate stations. Improve the regional pipeline in all regions and build more than 20 station facilities and more than 50 kilometers of main pipelines. The statistics of the gas-consuming institutions during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period are shown in Figure 1-1. In terms of the construction of the gas transmission system, the construction and distribution of natural gas pipelines are illustrated, as shown in Figure 1-2.
